History of T10 League Abu Dhabi for All Cricket Lovers

T10 league Abu Dhabi started on 15-24 November in 2019 by Emirates Cricket board, as the shortest format of the game. This Abu Dhabi T10 League was set to entertain people where star players across the globe participated in the event. T10 league was the battle for the playoffs against 8 teams from different parts of the country. This event was organized for 10 days with a 10-over-a-side format along with a time duration of 90 minutes. Each day the tournament was played in 3 slots.

All the matches listed in the T10 League were played in Sheik Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Overall 29 matches were hosted for T10 League 2019. The setup process of the 2019 edition 2019 was designed in such a way that it would seem extraordinary from the other cricket leagues. As per rule, one team was dismissed after the group stage although the losing team got the chance for reappearance. All in one people could experience a super league stage of the tournament.

The tournaments were held on 23 November 2019 in the following order-

• Qualifier 1
• Eliminator 1
• Eliminator 2

The third-place match was held on 25 November 2019, i.e, just before the finals of 2019 T10 League. Although the venue was the same.

Match Summary

After a hardcore battel, finally, the top four teams were qualified for the playoff matches. They were- Maratha Arabians, Qalandars, Deccan Gladiators, Bangla Tigers. Maratha Arabian and Qalandars were the two teams who played the Qualifier match held on November 23.2019 in which Maratha Arabians defeated Dawid Makan-led Qalandars by 7 runs. 

Decan Gladiators and Bangla Tigers played in Eliminator 1 and Decan gladiators won the match by 5 wickets with 5 balls. Again in Eliminator 2, Deccan Gladiators won the match and beat Qalandars and qualified for the final. As per the 3rd play result, Bagla Tigers was the winning team and defeated Dawid Malan -led Qalandars by 6 wickets with 2 balls. 

In the final match, the battle was between Maratha Arabians vs Deccan Gladiators in which Maratha Arabians won the battle of 2019 Abu Dhabi T10 tournament by 8 wickets.

Top Performers

• Chadwick Walton was awarded as the player of the match.
• George Garton (Qalandars) took the highest wickets.(Inn-9, WKTS-12).
• Chris Lynn (Maratha Arabians) was the highest scorer (INN-8, Runs-371, High Score 91*) and got the player of the series award.
